I have a deep appreciation for the natural world and the wild life that surrounds us. I grew up in the country and as a boy,most of my waking hours were spent exploring the forests and fields or rowing about in bays and channels of the Thousand Islands of Ontario. My greatest interest was in observing, drawing and painting the animals and birds that I became familiar with.
